If you are thinking there might be an easier way to have a happy mindset and happy life, science has a clear suggestion.
A scientific study entitled, “A Wandering Mind is An Unhappy Mind,” had scientists contact 2000 people and inquire what they were doing at the time, what they were thinking about and how they were feeling. Interestingly, people were less happy when their minds were wandering than when they were not wandering. What people were thinking was a better predictor of happiness than what they were doing.
The key point here is to match your thoughts to what you are doing in the moment. This may be termed presence, being in the moment, being aware, being fully conscious. Anyone who practices this consistently has not only a better chance of happiness, but of self-evolution.
